AT&T Texting Commercial

The texting and driving commercial is an effective way to get the attention of others and convince them not to text and drive. When you see the pain of the family and friends affected by the loss of a texting and driving accident, it makes you realize how something so unimportant is not worth it. The video AT&T constructed used a large amount of pathos by showing the family and friend's emotions to appeal to a larger audience. Logos was used by demonstrating that logically, texting while driving is a pointless distraction. Ethos was used as the State HighwayPatrol talked of his experience of dealing with an accident due to texting while driving. The video should certainly be a wakeup call to those still texting while behind the wheel.
