Sweatshop Oppression Rhetorical Analysis
The sweatshop oppression is a push to improve conditions for workers in developing countries. In order for us to get the low prices, companies use sweatshops to assemble the numerous products in demand. The treatment of the workers in these sweatshops is horrible, as they work 70-80 hours per week making only pennies for each hour. Disregarding the small pay, the shops may have poor ventilation, with few breaks permitted. These jobs pay as little as possible, so the products can be priced as low as possible and make profit for the company. It is important to realize the mistreatment of the workers, and push to provide them with the jobs, and better work conditions.
